Joanna Davidovich was born in Orange Park, Florida into a family of gymnastically-inclined Ukrainians. A healthy appetite for Looney Tunes, Animaniacs, Little Mermaid, and a penchant for drawing flamingos with sunglasses spawned her life-long ambition to work in the animation industry. She earned her BFA in Animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2005, graduating as class salutatorian. She now lives in Atlanta working as an freelance animator, character designer, and story artist for studios such as Primal Screen and Turner Studios, and has animated for clients inluding Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and General Mills. Independently she created the titles for the BBC3 show Touch Me I'm Karen Taylor (2007), and her "Laughing Orangutans" (2008) cartoons were broadcast on PBS's Electric Company. She is currently wrapping season two of Ugly Americans, and will release her "Monkey Rag" cartoon in 2012.
