"TOUCH ME I'M KAREN TAYLOR" SHOW OPEN (0:41s, 5.1 MB) - May 2007 - My first big commission! You can see the sketch comedy series "Touch Me I'm I'm Karen Taylor" on BBC3, with a title sequence directed and animated by me, with compositing by Nate Foster.

JUXTAPOSER (3:35m, 15 MB) - June 2005- My slightly-embarassing-but-at-least-its-finished senior film. Check out the very official website and see how it played at festivals.
STRUT YOUR REEL ENTRY - (0:06s, 428 K) - Oct 2007 - My first try at an online animation contest. I actually won this one at Strut Your Reel, but I was also the only entry. Go fig!
PUPPY CYCLE - (loop, 8 K) - May 2007 - A little puppy I flashed up for my friend Zoran for his film "301 Dalmations", a parody of "300".

SILESIA (0:35s, 3 MB) -2005- Silesia Schputz gives her own take on Marilyn Monroe's famous pose in this Very Short Film.
PANTHER AND THE COIN (0:24s, 2.6 MB) -2003- I used this Pink Panther look alike for an experiment in animating in time to music.
PREY (0:30s, 1.1 MB) -2004- A tiny peice with Odessa and Tiger at a bar, although the bar is apparently invisible (layouts? who needs 'em). An old peice, but it still has some good facial expressions.
GENE KELLY ROTO (0:17s, 1.1 MB) -2004- I'm wary of rotoscope, but I'm still pleased with how this clip of Gene Kelly from "American in Paris" turned out.

TRIX SHADOW (0:46s, 3.3 MB) -2007- Another gem directed by Ward Jenkins, this is by far my favorite Primal project. The Trix rabbit webswinging as Spiderman- a lot of fun.
MCDONALD'S PENCIL PROMOS (1:56m, 4 MB) -2007- The character animation for these spots was farmed out to Primal. I think the environments look great, but the compositing consistantly irks me because the characters' feet and hands never properly connect to the environment. At least, not in my shots (grumble). The best looking stuff are definitely the Fosters segments, animated by Joe Kubesheski.
FDA SPOT THE BLOCK: "LABEL" AND "SERVING SIZE" (1:30m, 3.7 MB) -2007- Irwin (though it was originally supposed to be Dracula) sing about the merits of conscious eating habits. Another rush job, lots of reuse and rotos, but I liked animating Bloo on the nutrition block.
"PRIMAL WEBSITE LOADERS" (loop, 36 K) -2007- I flashed up some robots to act as loaders for the Primal Screen website- silly but fun stuff.
TYSON/MGHEE AIRPORT: "SECURITY" AND "CHECK-IN" (1:22m, 2.5 MB) -2007- Jeremy Seymour designed and directed these snappy spots, and let me practice my Flash skills with Ty the Airport Guy.
COMCAST TRIPLE PLAY: DEXTER'S LABORATORY (0:52s, 2.4 MB) -2006- Dexter throws a party because Comcast is awesome. Well, Dexter thinks so at least. Directed by Jeff Fastner, this spot really captures the look and feel of Dexter's Lab and might even be fun to watch if Dexter didn't say "delicious" in such a creepy way.
PBS KIDS ONLINE PROMOS (1:51m, 1.9 MB) -2006- "Dash" is a spokestoon for PBS Kids, and incidentally, a good character to learn Flash with.
COCOA PUFFS: "ELEVATOR" AND "INNER PEACE" (1:17m, 4.1 MB) -2006- Ward Jenkins directed these fun, fun, fun spots. I really liked animating Sonny!
AMERICAN DRAGON JAKE LONG MUSIC VIDEO (1:16m, 6.8 MB) -2006- I don't care what the song says; that boy is braggin'.
AMERICAN DRAGON JAKE LONG: BEHIND THE SCENES (1:14m, 4.75 MB) -2006- A very rushed set of spots, but at least it wasn't all roto-ed. Jake Long explains what's new about his show on the set.
GET ANIMATED: PAUSE (0:44s, 1.8 MB) -2006- A football game with the characters from Camp Lazlo is apparently more fun than a video game.
SPONGEBOB "NICK KIT" PRESENTATION (0:31s, 2.6 MB) - 2005 - I like Spongebob. So when this project's director Rich Draper said I would handle the animation for this spot, I was pleased as punch! I did the key animation and tweens, while Rich fixed the lip sync, and sweetened Patrick's roll off into the distance and Spongebob's final run.
VERB SOAK UP THE SUN: JUNIPER LEE (1:07m, 4.6 MB) -2005- In these two PSAs, I was given the animation for all of the "Juniper Lee" characters. The second spot won a silver Broadcast Design Award in 2006. Rock on.
SCISSORKID: EPISODE 2 (1:05m, 2.7 MB) -2005- Primal Screen produced a number of shorts for Cartoon Network's "Sunday Pants" show, and I was an assistant animator for the "Scissorkid" shorts. However, for the second episode, I was given the opportunity to storyboard and do lead animation...in a week and a half. Needless to say, it was a learning experience.
PBS SPROUT BUMPS (0:36s, 3.7 MB) -2005- I was one of the character animators for Primal Screen's branding campaign of PBS's network "Sprout". In this selection of bumps here, I did all of the characters and effects like the circus tent flap, the milk pouring, the towels growing (you'll see), and the bubbles popping.
VERB KICKBALL: STARFIRE (0:36s, 4 MB) -2004- My first work that ever aired, a great gig from Primal Screen. Amazingly, I was given all the animation for Starfire. Sometimes interns just luck out.
ENDLESS YARD SALE (0:20s, 2 MB) -2004- Another great break from Primal Screen. I designed all the characters (and many props) and did the lead character animation for this sweet main title for an HGTV special.
BUILDER BLOCKS (0:24s, 2 MB) -2004- More work from Primal Screen. These transitions and lowers thirds are part of the new packaging for Cartoon Fridays, and it was my first go at animating in After Effects.
